Israeli software provider Nice Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) agreed to acquire Nexidia Inc., a leading provider of advanced customer analytics, for $135 million in cash. The transaction is scheduled to close during the first quarter of 2016, and Nice expects the acquisition be accretive to earnings in 2016.

Nexidia was founded in 2000 by Mark Clements and Peter Cardillo, and is based in Atlanta, Georgia. The startup had previously raised $39 million in multiple rounds of funding from investors including BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, Boston Millennia Partners, Cordova Ventures, HarbourVest Partners, Hig Capital, Morgan Stanley, ARM, Paladin Capital and Sandbox Industries.
